Active Ingredient: Cineole is a major active component of cardamom oil, is a potent antiseptic that kills the bacteria in bad breath and treats other infections and is also known to have expectorant activity for clearing breathing passages. While cardamom is one of the most expensive spices by weight, only alittle of its powder is needed to impart its flavor to a dish.
